Family reunion for Somawathi children

Recently, eight children of the Somawathi Home were reunited with their families .They are Sadeepa,  Semini, Nanyani, Vajiri, Hashini, Dulani, Dileema and Rashan. The judge has decided that they could be assigned to one of their family members.

Of some of the children  the father or mother has in the meantime remarried and as a result are found able to have  the guardianship returned to them.

In the last five years  22 children of the Somawathi Home have been reunited with their families.
